As an Electronics Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the US Navy. You will play a crucial role in upgrading, designing, implementing and testing advanced systems.

DESCRIPTION

• Designs, fabricates, modifies, and evaluates electronic apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in electronic equipment and devices
• Design, test, inspect, and update electronic systems, components, equipment along with software
• Analyze customer needs and determine the requirements, capacity, and cost for developing an electrical system plan or product
• Evaluate systems and recommend design modifications or equipment repair
• Inspect electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to make sure they meet safety standards and applicable regulations
• Draft specifications, instructions, and reports
• Partner with other internal and/or external stakeholders as well as clients to ensure projects are successfully completed to specifications
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technology

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Experience with Sensors and data acquisition, Signal processing and analysis, Software experience with LabView and MATLAB, Linux database administration
• Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements: Work is at the customer site
