Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a hybrid role in Batesville, IN. The long-term client is a leader in medical device development. This contract position lasts 2 months with a possibility of extension or conversion, offering a competitive hourly rate on W2.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in engineering, 5–10 years' medical device experience, and familiarity with design controls and relevant standards (FDA 21 CFR 820.30, ISO 9001 4.4, IEC 60601-1).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technology; preference for Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in design and/or development within a medical device company.
• Experience with Medical Device design controls and supporting New Product Development.
• Knowledge of FDA-21 CFR 820.30 and ISO 9001 sub clause 4.4 standards.
• Understanding of IEC 60601-1 standards for medical electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities in product development for electronic end-of-life processes.
• Develop solutions to routine technical problems related to current product designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external resources to update and maintain existing product functionalities.
• Collaborate with external contractors and Operations teams to enhance existing technology and drive product improvements.
• Work within a team environment, providing clear feedback to supervisors and departments.

Our client, a leader in medical device innovation, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Electrical Engineer

Location: Batesville, IN (Hybrid 3days onsite)

Duration: 2 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

Pay Range: $60-$65/hr on W2
