Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; 4–8 years electrical design experience.
• Coordination with mechanical/HVAC equipment; understand power distribution, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Interpreting construction documents and communicating across trades; PE license or EIT preferred; design-build experience is a plus.
• Revit MEP familiarity desired; BIM coordination skills are a plus.

Design and coordinate power distribution, disconnects, control wiring, and equipment connections for HVAC and plumbing systems, working closely with mechanical and controls teams. Review contractor drawings and submittals, perform load calculations, support field coordination, respond to construction RFIs, and ensure applicable electrical code compliance.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field and 4–8 years of electrical design experience are required, ideally including coordination with mechanical or HVAC equipment. Candidates should understand power distribution, motor controls, and VFD applications, interpret construction documents, and communicate effectively across trades; a PE license or EIT, design-build experience, and Revit MEP familiarity are preferred.
