HTI is searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a major facility project at Aurubis, a global leader in copper recycling and multi-metal production. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity through HTI. Duration is to be determined, based on project scope and progress.

What You Need

• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Expertise in managing external design/engineering firms
• Deep understanding of electrical design, utility systems, and construction integration
• Familiarity with relevant codes and safety regulations
• Strong communication, organization, and cross-discipline collaboration skills
• Physical readiness for on-site plant work and occasional travel (domestic/international)

What Your Role Will Look Like

As a key engineering contributor, you will:

• Lead and oversee electrical systems design and implementation
• Manage relationships and deliverables from external design/engineering firms
• Ensure alignment of electrical systems with utility, plant design, and project timelines
• Participate in procurement evaluations and technical reviews
• Support construction oversight and commissioning preparation
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain documentation and support training
