Warrant Technologies, LLC seeks an Electrical/Electronics Engineer III to support the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division on the MXM EMSO effort. You will execute Technical Instructions under government direction, focusing on mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and fleet-support tasking described in the SOW/PWS.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • 7+ years of professional electrical/electronics engineering experience.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance (or interim) required and must be maintained.
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems, assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical assemblies.
  • Work location: NSWCCR / Contractor Facility.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned Technical Instructions under Government direction in support of RDT&E and mission engineering.
  • Support modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in SOW/PWS.
  • Troubleshoot, assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical assemblies.
  • Produce design artifacts, test procedures, and engineering reports for government review.
  • Collaborate with IPT leads, peer teams, and program leadership; adhere to QM/CM/security requirements.

Description

The Electrical/Electronics Engineer III supports the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) on the MXM EMSO effort, executing assigned Technical Instructions under Government technical direction in support of the RDT&E, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in the SOW/PWS. The position requires ability to troubleshoot systems, assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical assemblies. The Electrical/Electronics Engineer III performs assigned work in accordance with Team quality, configuration-management, and security requirements.

  • · TS/SCI eligibility preferred.

  • - Ability to design and assess electrical architectures, perform engineering trade studies, and resolve complex integration issues.
  • - Demonstrated experience with component selection, interface definition, power and signal analysis, and design-for-test/maintainability principles.
  • - Experience generating technical documentation, including design artifacts, test procedures, and engineering reports suitable for government review.
  • - Strong communication skills for collaboration with government IPT leads, peer engineering teams, and program leadership.
  • - Strong experience in schematic design, board-level integration, and troubleshooting using modern lab instrumentation and analysis tools.
  • - Proficiency with electrical CAD/CAE tools, simulation, and hardware verification methods to support rapid design iteration.
  • - Experience developing and executing environmental, EMI/EMC, and functional test plans in support of qualification and fielding.
  • - Familiarity with cross-discipline integration (mechanical, software, systems engineering, manufacturing) and technical review governance.
