Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop control systems for oil and gas operations. You will work with analog and digital circuits, embedded firmware in C, and LabVIEW-based test equipment, ensuring safe, compliant installations.

You will collaborate across mechanical and software teams, prepare reports, perform risk assessments, and oversee installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with electrical design and control systems.
• Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

• Experience with hardware simulation tools.
• Firmware using embedded C.

• Altium or similar PCB design experience.
• Ability to perform basic solder work (SMT and thru-hole).
• Strong experience with Version Control using Git
• Ability to produce quality Technical Documentation.
• Proficient in Project Management.
• Can conduct Risk assessments.
• Able to travel as needed.

Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:

• Must have a valid driver's license and record that conforms to company's insurance policies, ATF, DOT, and State of other required Hazmat training.
• Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation is preferred.

Work Authorization / Security Clearance:

• Authorized to work in United States.
• Able to meet ATF & regulatory security requirements.
