Leidos Maritime System Solutions (MSS) is seeking an experienced electrical engineer (EE) to work as part of a system development team to research, design, develop, and test advanced technologies for next-generation maritime capabilities.
The Leidos engineers are key performers within an experienced Government-Industry team in a fast-paced, accomplishment-oriented work environment. Work will be performed predominantly in San Diego, CA at the Naval Information Warfare Center, collaborating with other on-site team members and engineers located at various Government, industry, and Leidos facilities.
Most at-sea testing will be conducted in San Diego, with limited travel to collaborate with offsite team members and to support testing and operations outside the San Diego area.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and hold a Top Secret Clearance.
Work collaboratively within an experienced system development team to provide technical expertise in designing, developing, integrating, and testing electrical components and subsystems. All efforts are performed within a system context and must meet relevant performance and interface requirements. Team members also consider cost and schedule constraints during development. The final goal is verification of performance requirements at the component, subsystem, and system levels.
Experience working in teams to develop solutions, deliver products, and evaluate performance. Ability to analyze experimental data to inform design modifications. Strong technical writing skills for reports and briefings.

Pay Range: $67,600.00 - $122,200.00
