AV is seeking a motivated engineer or physicist to join the SpaceTech division as a Components (EEE) Parts Engineer. The role focuses on selecting appropriate electronics for space environments, learning standardization, and understanding radiation effects to ensure parts survive mission-critical operations.
You will be mentored by senior authorities and act as a technical link between design, procurement and quality teams to track parts from design to deployment, addressing EOL notices and PCNs

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineer or physicist to join our SpaceTech division as a Components (EEE) Parts Engineer. This is a role designed for an engineer who is passionate about the challenge of selecting the appropriate electronics for the harsh environment of space. In this role, you will be mentored by senior technical authorities to learn the intricacies of component selection, standardization, and radiation effects. You will play a vital role in ensuring that every passive and active component in our system is capable of surviving mission-critical operations.

We are a U.S. person under ITAR and EAR and must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Please understand that any job offer that requires approval of an export license will be conditional on AeroVironment’s determination that it will be able to obtain an export license in a time frame consistent with AeroVironment’s business requirements. The salary range for this role is:
$74,500 - $113,500
