Job summary

HDR is seeking an Electrical EIT/Coordinator to support the Building Engineering Services Group. You will evaluate electrical techniques, review documents, and write specifications while coordinating with owners and other disciplines.

The role includes potential project management on small to mid-size projects, supervising electrical CAD staff, and contributing to sustainable design efforts. Bachelor’s in Electrical/Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration (EIT preferred).
Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

Perform assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of electrical engineering techniques and procedures.
Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines.
Write/edit electrical specifications, select equipment and electrical devices.
Take on contract administration responsibilities requiring field inspections and conflict resolution.
Function as a Project Manager on small and mid-size projects as needed.
