Job summary

E-J Group’s Engineering team in Port Washington, NY, is looking for a Draftsperson adept in REVIT, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks to model electrical systems and produce design drawings per project specs. You will support construction documentation and prefabrication efforts, collaborating with project engineers and managers to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in a related field or industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk products such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Have basic Construction knowledge and eagerness to learn more. Electrical experience is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering staff with project deliverables to keep pace with the project schedule
• 3D modeling of electrical systems in REVIT per the direction of the Project Engineer
• Create shop drawings and sketches based on the existing model
• Makes changes to existing drawings and models based on comments from the project team
• Create prefabrication drawings to support fast-paced project delivery schedules
