Job summary

Latitude Inc. seeks an Electrical Drafter/Modeler in Maryland to produce accurate electrical drawings and 3D BIM models for commercial/industrial projects. You will support engineers and project teams throughout design and construction, coordinating with multiple trades.

The role requires hands-on AutoCAD and/or Revit experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, and a focus on producing construction-ready documents. On-site collaboration in New Market, MD is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD or Revit for electrical drawings.
• Ability to create 2D plans and 3D BIM models for electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage).
• Experience interpreting engineering designs, specs, and redlines to produce construction-ready documents.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Develop 2D plans and 3D BIM models for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and redlines to produce construction-ready documents.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure clash-free designs.
• Update drawings based on design changes, RFIs, and field conditions.
• Assist with panel schedules, load calculations, and circuiting documentation.
• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control.
• Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to BIM coordination efforts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
