LG Chem Advance Materials, Inc. in Clarksville, TN is seeking an Electrical Distribution Technician for full-time on-site work.

You will perform skilled installation, inspection, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of facility electrical distribution systems, leading safety checks and outage support. The role emphasizes reliability and reducing downtime with hands-on leadership of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Associate or technical degree preferred in electrical tech or related field.
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or recognized certification may be considered in lieu of an associate degree.
Basic electrical theory, tools, safe-work practices, measurements.
Ability to read procedures, labels, safety information, and basic electrical drawings.
Clear communication, teamwork, and ability to meet shift, overtime, and on-call requirements.
Willing to work multiple shifts, weekends, and on-call rotation.
Able to lift 40 lbs. and wear PPE as needed.

Responsibilities

Apply electrical safety, energy-control, permit, and work-planning requirements.
Lead or participate in pre-job briefs, hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
Establish an electrically safe work condition and inspect tools, grounding equipment, PPE.
Interpret incident-energy labels and verify absence of voltage using live-dead-live method.
