Job summary

UL Solutions is hiring a Project Engineer - Electrical Distribution in Research Triangle Park for a hybrid role requiring three days on site. You will define project scope, develop investigation plans, and determine costs, time, and sample needs by analyzing client input and product data.

Travel to client sites is possible, and you may lead project teams and sign as Reviewer of record. Required are a University Degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in electrical/electronics engineering

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering is required
• 3+ years in electrical/electronics engineering or TIC industry
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong customer interaction skills

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and plan investigations with client input and data
• Coordinate lab activities and review work of technicians
• Communicate project status and results to clients through reports and meetings
• Develop test programs and assess UL requirements; address deviations and changes
• May serve as Designated Engineer for specific product categories; lead and train staff
