Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of AutoCAD experience (Revit experience preferred)
• Systems design experience with Security Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems
• NICET Security Certification
• ASIS International Advanced Security Certification
• Manufacturer's equipment certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of systems design experience
• Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
• Knowledge of security systems and manufacturer's equipment
• Industrial design experience

Life Safety Systems - (Security) Systems Designer

We are seeking a Life Safety Systems Designer for multiple locations. This role involves working on projects that are central to our client's business, including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other advanced manufacturing and research facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform computer-aided drafting and design of Life Safety and Security Systems using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Create 3D model spaces in coordination with architects and engineers
• Design Security Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection Systems from 3D BIM models
• Perform calculations and apply NFPA and ICC codes and other standards to model content
• Specify equipment as directed by engineering staff
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers and design leads to deliver complex packages
• Support and engage with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams to maximize design and digital technology capabilities
