Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree required in a relevant field.
• Experience with electrical design and project teams is preferred.
• Strong reading of construction drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical codes is beneficial.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for document production.

Responsibilities

• Create site specific electrical details, drawings and supporting documents using AutoCAD and Revit
• Produce/modify cable schedule documents using Excel
• Produce cable and equipment labels
• Ensure proper dimensions of equipment layouts and raceways from plans and specs
• Communicate technical aspects with other disciplines in the department
• Read and interpret construction drawings and documents
• Support evaluation of new technologies to increase design efficiency
• Produce internal reference documents and standards guidelines with a team
