Job summary

Maverick Power is seeking an Electrical Designer to create and maintain electrical drawing packages for low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. This role involves using CAD tools to develop accurate diagrams and layouts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in electrical design and a strong knowledge of CAD software like SolidWorks. This position offers opportunities for growth while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience creating electrical drawing packages for power distribution equipment.
• Experience with SolidWorks Electrical 3D wire routing and other similar design tools.
• Experience in supporting drawing revisions and BOM development.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise electrical diagrams and layouts for power distribution equipment.
• Develop complete drawing packages based on project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering and project management to resolve design questions.

Skills

Electrical drafting and design skills

Strong knowledge of CAD tools

Ability to convert customer requirements into documentation

Education

Associate degree in electrical/electronic engineering technology
