Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Designer to launch a career in our engineering group in the United States. You will prepare project deliverables in line with standards, using REVIT and CAD, and perform basic technical tasks under supervision.

You will collaborate with a team of engineers and designers, assist with design documents, and develop technical reports while growing your professional skills in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

Experience with basic engineering concepts, principles, practices, and procedures for design and analysis.
Aptitude and drive to analyze complex problems and convey solutions clearly.
Strong organizational skills with ability to shift attention between multiple projects.
Experience in an entrepreneurial and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

Works with a team of technical staff to develop project deliverables from design documents to technical reports.
Applies knowledge of basic engineering concepts for design, analysis, and investigation.
Coordinates tasks with other teams across the firm and external sources.
Assists project engineer with more advanced technical activities.
Uses REVIT and CAD to prepare project deliverables and production tasks.
