Job summary

Ever-Green Energy, based in Saint Paul, MN, seeks an Electrical Designer II to design and support electrical systems for central plants and campus facilities. You will develop BIM/CAD drawings, perform power system studies with SKM, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver quality design work.

The role emphasizes Revit and AutoCAD expertise, strong problem solving, and clear communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Applied Science or A.A.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in electrical or mechanical design.
• Experience creating 3D models and designs using Revit or similar software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software packages.
• Proficiency with SKM Power Tools or similar electrical modeling software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical or mechanical design services for central plant and customer buildings’ systems design and maintenance projects.
• Prepare BIM/CAD drawings using 3D design software, including layout, plan and detail drawings for new construction projects.
• Assist in bid document preparation and related figures and drawings.
• Utilize BIM/CAD standards of the organization.
• Perform electrical power system studies using SKM Power Tools with engineer oversight.
• Manage Revit models, including naming conventions, clash checks, worksets, and schedules.
