Job summary

Suburban Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer I to join our Design department in Wisconsin.

You will design electrical construction drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturing requirements while researching product use and user preferences. The role requires NFPA 70E experience, ability to read electrical drawings, knowledge of lighting design, and proficiency with Bluebeam and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Three years of NFPA 70E experience including branch circuit and service load calculations.
• Three years of related electrical design experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and interpret electrical drawings (layouts, one-line, panel schedules, photometrics).
• Familiarity with lighting design, controls, fixture selection, and photometric requirements.
• Communicate clearly and in a professional manner.
• Proficient in the use of Bluebeam.
• Basic proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical construction drawings and specifications reflecting aesthetics, function, and manufacturing needs.
• Research and analyze product use and user preferences.
• Review Revit, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam drawings for accuracy.
• Incorporate green initiatives into the design process.
