Job summary

Vantage Point Solutions is seeking an Electrical Designer to support the design and development of electrical systems for power generation facilities and related energy infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and vendors to develop accurate drawings and design documentation.

The role requires experience producing electrical drawings with AutoCAD and understanding of industrial power systems, codes, and construction practices, with supervision from licensed

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Experience producing electrical construction drawings and detailed design packages.
• Working knowledge of industrial low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise electrical drawings for power generation and industrial facilities based on engineering calculations, field data and project direction.
• Prepare electrical drawing packages including single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, site plans and distribution layouts.
• Assist with creating equipment specifications, schedules, load lists and BOMs; support short-circuit and coordination studies.
