Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking an Electrical Designer to organize order documents, create drawings, and requisition parts for timely, accurate manufacturing of products in line with company policies.

The role involves preparing complex designs for Material Handling products, generating BOMs, solving engineering issues in fabrication and service, and supporting production, purchasing, and sales teams with CAD drawings and technical guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering preferred; AS/technical coursework accepted.
• 1+ year experience with electrical systems or manufacturing.
• 1+ year experience with CAD Electrical preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare moderately to complex designs for Material Handling products.
• Create drawings from written and verbal specifications.
• Produce bills of materials including enclosure, components, and wire.
• Resolve engineering issues in fabrication, assembly, and service.
• Support production, purchasing, sales/application engineering and vendors.
• May create and maintain CAD libraries for components.
• Assist in training electrical designers and design standards.
