Job summary

Power Design Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to map power distribution across large residential and commercial projects. You will craft layouts, drawings, schematics, isometrics and illustrations by interpreting project electrical requirements.

You’ll coordinate solutions, lead project bids and construction support, and guide teammates with strong NEC knowledge and design fundamentals. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of relevant electrical experience and NEC knowledge.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Experience with electrical equipment and design fundamentals.
• Bachelors in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design solutions meeting customer needs and budgets.
• Lead and provide technical guidance across multiple projects.
• Provide design direction and support to team members.
• Communicate with customers, project teams, and authorities.
• Perform calculations like service loads, voltage drops, and lighting photometrics.
