Job summary

Searchmasters Inc in Mentor, Ohio seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of industrial controls systems for custom automated machinery.

You will produce electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, cable schedules, and installation documentation, create CAD drawings in AutoCAD Electrical, generate BOMs, and collaborate with panel shop technicians to resolve design issues during fabrication, testing, and startup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and control panel development.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of control systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Responsibilities

• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during panel fabrication, testing, commissioning, and startup phases.
