Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Design Test Engineer to design, prototype, and rigorously test analog and mixed-signal circuits for flame scanners and combustion control products. You will ensure UL/IEC/FCC compliance and generate thorough verification documents.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and design validation teams, support new product launches, and contribute to sustaining engineering with design improvements for reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong experience in analog circuit analysis, design, and testing.
• Solid understanding of semiconductors, diodes, MOSFETs, and passives.
• Hands-on experience with power supplies, signal conditioning, and relay drive circuits.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test analog and mixed-signal circuits for flame scanners and combustion control products.
• Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, FCC, and other regulatory standards.
• Create detailed design documentation and verification reports.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Firmware, and Design Validation teams throughout development and testing.
• Support product launch and sustaining engineering activities.
