This course introduces students to the principles of electrical engineering design. It provides a solid foundation in electrical engineering design. Students will learn to produce great designs taking into consideration requirements, standards, and regulatory compliance. Design of electrical and electronic devices, circuits, and systems is taught through application of engineering sciences, economics, and national and international standards. Hands‑on activities focus on the design and integration of different subsystems. Topics include electrical engineering modeling, simulations, and integration.
Preferred: Doctorate in Electrical Engineering
Minimum: Master’s in Electrical Engineering and industry experience
