Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting engineers and technicians in a collaborative environment, working on a variety of projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational sectors.

You’ll assist with drawings, BIM, and project documentation while learning industry standards and best practices. This internship emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to real-world design

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• Knowledge of circuits, Ohm’s Law, and basic electrical engineering principles.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred.
• Computer proficiencies include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical engineering drawings and construction documents using CAD software.
• Assist with BIM development and coordination across project teams.
• Support project setup activities, including document organization and quality control.
