Job summary

Black & Veatch in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop electrical designs for water/wastewater projects. You’ll produce one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, installation details, and technical specifications under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 1+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services.
• Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred.
• Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical design for water/wastewater projects.
• Produce one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, installation details, and technical specifications.
• Function in a technical specialist capacity under general supervision.
• Broaden knowledge in the discipline and expand into other areas.
• Engage in continuous learning and development of technical expertise.
• Coordinate with regional and global design teams.
