Job summary

McKim & Creed is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer for our Building, Energy and Infrastructure Group in Pittsburgh. You will join a multi-discipline team supporting power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and voice/data systems across healthcare, education, government, and commercial facilities.

The role focuses on producing design drawings in REVIT/AutoCAD, assisting with design computations, and coordinating with project leadership to meet budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (electrical focus).
• 0–2 years of applicable facilities experience.
• Strong organization, technical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of NEC commensurate with experience.
• 0–2 years REVIT experience in design-related field.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Generate electrical design/construction drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD.
• Observe electrical construction progress on active projects.
• Prepare design computations, evaluations and technical reports under supervision.
• Complete assigned design tasks within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Sr. Electrical Engineer and team members.
• Report to Senior Engineer.
