Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet performance, efficiency, and reliability targets.

You will create detailed designs, develop prototypes, test solutions, and work with manufacturing and QA to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and compliant with industry standards and environmental regulations while managing multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 1-6 years of experience in design engineering.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs for electrical components.
• Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, meet industry standards, and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepare technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
