Applied Engineering in Burnsville, MN is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to lead design, validation, and implementation of advanced electrical power distribution and conversion systems. You will own major subsystems, drive design reviews, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 5–8 years of industrial experience in electrical design or electromechanical systems.
- Experience designing specifications for switchgear, switchboards, transfer switches, loadbanks, and generators.
- Familiarity with NEC, UL, and industry derating criteria.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and validation for major subsystems and product areas.
- Translate system requirements into practical, robust electrical designs.
- Own schematics, drawings, calculations, specifications, and bills of material.
- Drive design reviews, trade studies, prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting.
