Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join a global manufacturer near Endwell, NY. Direct hire opportunity focusing on design, development, and testing of electrical parts.

You will review schematics, create PCB layouts, debug hardware and software, and perform PCB rework. The role also involves scripting firmware and test equipment automation, plus collaborating with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics PADS or similar required.
• Familiar with C, C#, FPGA, or Python ideal.
• Experience using test tools (meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design, development, and testing of parts.
• Review and create schematics and PCB layouts.
• Debug hardware/software.
• PCB rework, soldering and component replacement.
• Create scripts for firmware and test equipment automation.
• Interact with customers and vendors.
