Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for modular infrastructure projects, including BESS, GenSets, and data centers. This role develops schematics, one-line diagrams, wiring docs, and production-ready designs, with up to 10% travel.

You will collaborate with mechanical, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with codes and customer specs, perform load calculations, and help bring prototypes through FAT and commissioning in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years electrical engineering experience
• Experience creating electrical schematics and documentation
• Proficient with CAD software like SolidWorks Electrical/AutoCAD Electrical/EPLAN
• Understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution and controls

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for modular infrastructure and industrial equipment
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable schedules
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and project teams
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and basic electrical analysis
• Produce production-ready electrical documentation for manufacturing and integration
• Support compliance with electrical codes, standards, and customer specs
• Participate in engineering reviews and continuous improvements
• Support FAT, commissioning, and troubleshooting with manufacturing teams
