Job summary

Ferno seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and improve electrical systems for emergency care and patient transport products. The role involves creating schematics, performing calculations and simulations, and selecting components to meet safety and reliability goals.

You will collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and other teams to ensure cost, quality, and regulatory standards are met, while supporting prototyping, testing, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; proficiency with electrical design tools and CAD.
• Familiarity with relevant standards; medical devices or emergency equipment experience is a plus.
