Job summary

Task Force Tips LLC in Valparaiso, IN is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design new products, enhance existing ones, and provide technical support across internal teams, customers, and channel partners. This hands-on role emphasizes reliability and safety for life-saving firefighting equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of electronic design experience, and familiarity with DC motor control, PCB design, and embedded programming.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years electronic design experience.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems, DC motor control, PCB design, and embedded programming.
• Experience with vehicular/portable DC power systems design.

Responsibilities

• Design new products and modifications for manufacturing and testing.
• Document design activities with traceability and compliance.
• Support testing, develop specifications, and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to resolve issues.
• Provide assembly guidance and training for new products.
• Redesign existing products to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Draft and review technical documentation and manuals.
• Travel to vendor sites as needed.
