Industrial Electric Mfg. (IEM) in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design low and medium voltage power systems and serve as the primary technical interface for assigned equipment.

The role involves creating BOMs, drawings, and operation sequences; collaborating with mechanical and field teams; and supporting design reviews, sales, and project management to meet customer goals. On-site work with cross-functional teams is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related field experience; field service a plus.
• Industrial automation experience is a big plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create bill of materials and drawing packages for manufacture for equipment of moderate complexity.
• Independently perform design, troubleshooting and commissioning functions as needed to support IEM equipment.
• Support production during manufacturing and testing by answering technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with mechanical designers to layout switchgear and switchboards.
• Select components and create detailed bills of materials.
• Write sequence of operation documents for automatic system functionality.
• Work with test and field service teams to verify system operation against design.
• Collaborate with teams to support factory witness tests and demonstrations.
• Provide design support to sales and project management for customer inquiries.
• Complete short field assignments for troubleshooting, design consultation, or engineering support (≤15% time).
