Job summary

The SSI Group is seeking an electrical design professional to produce design packages for small to mid-sized projects. You will run electrical calculations, prepare single-line diagrams and wiring diagrams in Revit and AutoCAD, and ensure code compliance across NEC/IEC standards.

As you gain experience, you will take on more complex systems, participate in client meetings and field inspections, and work with senior engineers to deliver drawings, estimates, and full documentation for multiple

Qualifications

Design and produce electrical design packages from concept through design deliverables.
Perform calculations to validate designs, ensuring NEC/IEC compliance.
Coordinate with other disciplines to fit systems into projects.

Responsibilities

Produce electrical design packages on small and mid-sized projects.
Run the electrical calculations behind each design, including load calculations, voltage drop analyses, and short-circuit studies.
Develop single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and wiring diagrams in Revit and AutoCAD to company standards.
Keep every design code-compliant and prepare compliance documentation for NEC/IEC.
Deliver drawings, estimates, and documentation across multiple small projects and write contract documents.
Review your own work before it goes to a senior reviewer and propose fixes for inconsistencies.
Attend client meetings, interdisciplinary coordination sessions, off-site meetings, and field inspections.
Take on more complex electrical systems over time and learn from senior staff.
