Job summary

Ballinger is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I to design, develop, and implement electrical systems for healthcare, academic, and research facilities. You will work under mentorship to produce drawings, perform analyses, and coordinate with other disciplines.

Responsibilities include redline handling, document production, and site travel as needed, with a hybrid office environment and ongoing professional growth within Ballinger’s studio leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Revit and CAD proficiency required.
• Up to 4 years of experience in a construction, architectural or engineering firm; travel (<15%) may be needed.
• Ability to work within a team and follow project direction.

Responsibilities

• Draft/Model documents.
• Pick up redlines in a documentation set.
• Provide engineering support including standalone analysis and documentation tasks within project teams.
• Active and direct role in document production.
• Interface and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Develop knowledge of Ballinger’s project types through engagement with teams.
• Travel as project requirements dictate for surveys and field visits.
