Job summary

Ballinger is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer I to design, develop, and implement electrical systems for healthcare, academic, and research facilities. The role resides in the engineering department and reports to an engineering studio leader.

Responsibilities include drafting, redline adoption, cross-disciplinary coordination, and field travel as required, with mentorship from senior engineers. Strong CAD/Revit and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (or related field).
• Postgraduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft/Model documents.
• Pick up redlines in a documentation set.
• Engineering support including standalone analysis modeling and documentation tasks within larger projects.
• Active role in document production.
• Interface and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Travel for surveys and field/site visits during construction.
