Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Electrical Design Engineer Description

Our client, a leading OEM of data center cooling systems, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX (near Mesquite). In this role, you will design and develop electrical systems and control panels for power distribution in advanced cooling equipment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through testing and support manufacturing. Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities

• Design wiring diagrams and electrical schematics for power/control systems

• Select components and prepare BOMs for electrical systems

• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, and related safety codes

• Create CAD schematics using AutoCAD or similar software

• Collaborate with mechanical, controls, and software teams

• Test and troubleshoot panels during prototyping and build

• Support installations and field service as needed

• Improve existing designs for performance and manufacturability

Electrical Design Engineer Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical design experience required

• Experience designing electrical systems and control panels required

• Experience troubleshooting and testing electrical panels required

• Knowledge of NEC and UL standards required

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software required
