Matic Robots Inc. is on a mission to recapture time with autonomous home robots. We’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join us on the ground floor and help shape the hardware that powers our first product, a wall‑cleaning robot.

You’ll own end‑to‑end design and manufacturing of PCBA hardware, prototype bring‑up, layout, verification, and integration with mechanical/firmware teams. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years’ consumer electronics exp, proficiency with Altium or Cadence, and a

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–4 years of professional electrical design experience in high-volume consumer products
• Experience with Altium Designer, Cadence or equivalent
• Experience with I2C, SPI, USB, MIPI
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout
• Exposure to regulatory certification processes
• Supply chain management and PCBA contract manufacturing experience
• Comfort with fast-paced startup environment

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end design and manufacturing of critical PCBA hardware
• Rapid prototyping, component selection, schematic capture, prototype bring‑up and debugging
• Board layout of PCB assemblies including SoCs and sensors
• Electromechanical integration with mechanical and firmware teams
• Develop specifications and accelerated test plans for product lifetime validation
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers and field deployment
