Job summary

MOHR Talent in Ocean Springs, MS is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to own building electrical systems from concept through construction. You will draft plans and specs using AutoCAD and Revit, and collaborate with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams to deliver integrated solutions.

This role emphasizes hands‑on design and field investigations, with opportunities to lead submittals, project delivery, and client coordination in a fast‑moving consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on AutoCAD and Revit experience on building electrical systems.
• Ability to coordinate with architectural and mechanical teams.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical plans, one-line diagrams, schedules, details, and specifications.
• Design power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and other building electrical systems.
• Perform branch circuiting, lighting calculations, and electrical-system studies.
• Evaluate existing facilities through field investigations and site visits.
• Coordinate design requirements with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams.
• Support submittal review, construction administration, and project delivery.
