Job summary

Shive-Hattery is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support projects from concept to completion. You will work with a collaborative team on building systems design, including power, lighting, and data/communications, across diverse markets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an EE emphasis and Revit proficiency. Hybrid office environment and travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis.
• Experience with 3D modeling and Revit is required.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and communicate clearly.
• Experience designing lighting, power, and low-voltage systems is desirable.
• FE exam taken or planned.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design for building systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Lead design and production of projects across varied markets.
• Visit project sites to assist with measurement and construction observation duties.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
