Job summary

Entech Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Designer / Electrical Engineer with 2–10 years of experience to support architectural engineering, facilities, utilities, and infrastructure projects.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop electrical design solutions for buildings and facilities, including power, lighting, controls, and low-voltage systems, with field and construction support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• Approximately 2–10 years of electrical design experience.
• Engineer-in-Training certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience with architectural engineering, MEP, campus environments, utilities, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and building systems design practices.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and documentation of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare electrical drawings, details, schedules, and specifications.
• Support design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate electrical design with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in site visits, field surveys, and construction meetings.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and contractor questions during construction.
• Assist with technical reports and project documentation.
