Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to develop analog, power, and mixed-signal hardware for advanced semiconductor test systems. You will work across the full hardware lifecycle from concept through validation, with global cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality test solutions.

The role emphasizes designing circuits, selecting components, developing schematics, and script-based automation to improve productivity and data analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience designing analog and power electronic circuits.
• Experience with DC-DC power conversion and SMPS topologies.
• Familiarity with PCB schematic capture and EDA tools (Xpedition, OrCAD, KiCad or similar).
• Experience using circuit simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice or similar).
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads).

Responsibilities

• Design analog, power, and mixed-signal circuits from concept through validation.
• Evaluate and select components to meet performance, reliability, and cost goals.
• Develop schematics and collaborate with PCB designers on layouts.
• Perform circuit simulation and design verification with standard tools.
• Debug, test, and validate PCB assemblies using lab equipment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (specs, test plans, validation reports).
• Develop scripts and automation to improve design efficiency and data analysis.
