Tomball Controls, LLC in Texas is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop electrical layout drawings, panel designs, and wiring diagrams for generator enclosures and related systems. You will create conduit routing and load-center layouts ensuring code compliance, and collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and production teams.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, knowledge of NEC and UL standards, and the ability to review customer specifications while supporting

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent practical experience will be strongly considered.
• Experience with generator systems, commercial MEP design, or similar industrial electrical environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks; electrical design experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of NEC, UL 508A, and UL 891/1558 standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create detailed electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with power generation systems, backup power solutions, or switchgear is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Requirements

• Primarily office- based with extensive computer work, along with periodic visits to the manufacturing and fabrication areas.
• Ability to walk through shop and fabrication environments to review ongoing work, conduct inspections, and collaborate with productions teams.
• Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, site visits, vendor coordination or project support activities.
