AMPAM is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems for multifamily and other complex building projects across California. This role offers growth from II to III level with leadership opportunities.
You will perform load analyses, voltage drop calculations, and panel scheduling while coordinating with architects, PMs, and field teams. Experience with commercial, healthcare, or higher education projects is valued.

We're growing our Electrical Engineering team and are hiring experienced engineers at either the Design Engineer II or Design Engineer III level.
The final title, responsibilities, and compensation will be determined based on your experience, technical expertise, licensure, and overall qualifications.

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll help design the building systems behind multifamily residential communities throughout California while collaborating with architects, project managers, field teams, and fellow engineers.
While multifamily construction is our primary focus, we also welcome candidates with experience designing electrical systems for commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, hospitals, higher education, student housing, mixed‑use developments, hospitality, or other complex building types.

Within your first year, you'll:
The expected hiring range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on level, experience, certifications and technical expertise.
