Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in the United States to develop, evaluate, and implement mechanical designs that meet customer requirements, technical specifications, cost targets, and project schedules. • Creates technical proposals, technical materials, procurement specifications, and electrical analyses.
• Supports company and customer test development and validation.

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for developing, evaluating, and implementing mechanical designs that meet customer requirements, technical specifications, cost targets, and project schedules. The role ensures compliance with applicable engineering standards and requirements while supporting proposal development, engineering execution, and continuous product improvement through design optimization, technical problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.

• Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones).
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Travel up to 10%.
