Position Summary

Moog Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer with a focus on conceptual design, analysis, development and testing of complex electronics for an onsite position in East Aurora. Reporting to the WNY Military Aircraft Electrical Engineering Manager, you will perform the conceptual design, analysis, development and testing of complex controls systems used on defense applications. You'll be responsible for the development of complex electrohydraulic, electromechanical and electropneumatic hardware control systems. The role requires a high degree of foresight and creativity to anticipate and solve unprecedented engineering problems.

Responsibilities
  • Design low‑voltage analog electronics circuits with high reliability requirements for aviation environments.
  • Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary product development team that defines requirements, creates the subsystem designs, and implements the quality design methodology. This role is responsible for the low‑power discrete analog design, component selection, modeling, and performance analysis.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities including component derating, worst‑case analysis, design failure‑mode effects analysis, and bench performance testing.
  • Document technical data generated for the assigned projects consistent with customer specifications and engineering policies and procedures.
  • Support test development, early production builds, analyze and troubleshoot modules in the lab and, if needed, at the customer site.
  • Be responsible for meeting cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
  • Self‑motivated, strong communication and analytical skills; self‑starting instincts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Salary Range Transparency

Buffalo, NY: $80,000.00 – $130,000.00 Annually
