Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
• Eight years of related experience in electrical design, gas pipeline facilities, operations, construction, or engineering support preferred.
• Thorough understanding of electrical design drawings, drafting standards, checking practices, and company design procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify electrical design information and drawing criteria for accuracy, completeness, and coordination.
• Resolve discrepancies with engineers, designers, project managers, construction personnel, and operations; revise drawings as needed.
• Assist in training designers, senior designers, lead designers, and third-party designers on drafting techniques and company standards.
• Assemble as-built data packages and verify final construction drawings and documentation; disseminate permanent documents for records storage.
• Maintain working knowledge of CAD tools and provide guidance to staff and third-party designers.
