Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Associate to support the design of industrial, data centers, federal, and healthcare projects. You will work closely with Senior Engineers to deliver engineering solutions for clients.

Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D electrical drawings, performing load calculations, and coordinating with project teams. A ABET-accredited degree and EIT certification are required, with experience using Revit and AutoCAD preferred.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manuals and documents.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with project team members, client representatives and review agencies to deliver comprehensive project reports or detailed designs.
• Prepare electrical drawings using computer aided design to generate 2D and 3D models and plans.
• Assist in developing reports, specifications, and permits for projects.
• Assist in design of power distribution systems, lighting designs, and low voltage systems.
• Perform electrical calculations such as load calculations, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
• Conduct electrical studies including short circuit analysis, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Support project site visits and construction administration activities.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs from contractors.

Formação académica

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university
